Tamil Nadu MSME subsidy

Tamil Nadu supports MSMEs through the MSME Policy 2021 — capital subsidy on plant and machinery, payroll subsidy, interest subsidy and entrepreneur schemes such as NEEDS and AABCS. Large projects come under the Industrial Policy 2021, and the government announced in August 2026 that a new industrial policy is coming. Capital subsidy must be applied for within one year of commercial production, so timing matters.
