Frequently asked questions
Can a warehouse get both AIF interest subvention and a capital subsidy?
Often yes — AIF interest benefits can usually be combined with other central or state capital subsidies, subject to each scheme's rules. We check the combination before you apply.
Is a project report compulsory?
For almost all agri and food processing schemes, yes. The bank and the scheme authority decide on the project report, so its costing and assumptions need to be realistic.
Do FPOs and co-operatives qualify?
Many of these schemes specifically support farmer producer organisations, self-help groups and co-operatives, sometimes with higher limits.
