Summary
The CRA's October 2026 business newsletter says directors and officers can now manage payroll, GST/HST and T2 corporate tax debts, including payment arrangements, in My Business Account without calling collections. Businesses can also obtain a T2 Web Access Code online, and corporations are asked to keep director and officer records up to date.
What it means for you
Indian-owned Canadian companies and their NRI directors can handle tax debts and T2 filing online, but stale director records can block account access.
